Full Job Description
Leidos is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager in Hawaii, USA. This is an exciting opportunity to use your skills and experience to support the Indo-Pacific Logistics and Sustainment Services (ILS2) contract by providing comprehensive, adaptive, and fully integrated logistics and sustainment services across the Indo-Pacific region to support the missions of SOCPAC, PACFLT, PACAF, USARPAC, and MARFORPAC. Job summary: The ILS2 Program is seeking a Quality Control Manager who is highly motivated, passionate about quality, and capable of leading the full range of program quality functions. Primary Responsibilities. • Manage all aspects of quality for the contract, including data collection and reporting. Ensure all quality assurance programs, metrics, reports, and data are gathered, managed, and reported in accordance with contract standards • Define, execute, and maintain the program quality system to meet customer and Leidos quality standards • Ensure compliance with the credentialing and training of all program personnel • Lead implementation of the Mission Assurance Model (Product Assurance, Execution Assurance, Performance Assurance, Predictive Prevention, and Lean Improvement Activity) to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the highest standards of quality in counselor operations • Provide regular status to Mission Assurance and program leadership on process health, deliverables, surveillance results, performance metrics, risks and opportunities, and areas of concern • Monitor corrective action plans to closure; track and escalate overdue or unresolved audit findings • Conduct sampling checks and assurance activities under the Mission Assurance Model and lead quality and improvement working groups • Enter and maintain audit findings in the Common Audit Database (CAD) with timely updates and closures • Review performance metrics and analyze trends to inform program decisions and deliverable quality • Hold the Responsible and Accountable designations for Mission Assurance process entries in the program RACI • Support effective communication among program management, counselors, and Government stakeholders regarding quality, performance, compliance, and continuous improvement. • Responsible for supervising ten direct reports. Basic Qualifications. • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and five (5) years of prior relevant experience; or master's with three (3) years of prior relevant experience • 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects • Must have an active TS/SCI Clearance (minimum to start) • US citizenship required • Must be able to obtain and maintain credentials to access military installations • Prior leadership experience in the Quality Manager role with demonstrated success in leading quality teams • Prior experience in creating and maintaining Quality Management System policies, procedures and related project documents • Prior experience in managing audit schedules and performing quality audits • Strong problem-solving, organizational skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences. • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills • Working knowledge of DoD contracting and understanding of FAR, DFARS, military, and government regulations. • Demonstrated experience evaluating concepts of operations, plans, policy, and doctrine to support mission readiness. • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project) • Ability to multi-task and function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications. • In depth working knowledge of the ISO 9001:2015 standard • Prior experience in conducting root cause analysis investigations • Continuous improvement experience in leading innovative changes • Experience related to supporting Logistics and Sustainment Services contracts • Experience working with USPACOM, subordinate Commands, and Pacific/Strategic Partner Nations. • Certified Quality Auditor • Certified Quality Engineer #ILS2 Original Posting: September 15, 2026 For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.
