Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with IPT Leads to capture quality performance records.
  • Monitor and report on the status of Corrective Actions and ensure closure.
  • Develop resolutions for process issues to enhance quality and client satisfaction.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for Technical Performance Measurements (TPM) and Key Performance Measurements (KPI).
  • Conduct quality assurance activities to validate testing and ensure product reliability.
  • Document and report malfunctions/bugs to facilitate immediate corrective action.

Description

SAIC seeks an experienced and energetic Quality Assurance Analyst to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission requirements, providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. This position is located Cape Canaveral, Florida.

Responsibilities:
• Executes and manages the workflow of the quality management system and associated aspects of ongoing projects and serves in an IPT/Agile Framework.
• Engages with IPT Leads and Functional Managers to interject and capture quality records of performance and operations.
• Reviews status of Corrective Actions; schedules to closure; actions to prevent reoccurrence and prepares subsequent surveillance reports.
• Assesses process and procedural issues and develops resolutions to meet quality, productivity, and client-satisfaction.
• Support Continuous Improvements to mechanisms for monitor, measure and evaluate Technical Performance Measurements (TPM) and Key Performance Measurements (KPI).
• Perform QA activities to verify and validate testing events and assurance to requirements and assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final outputs to expectations.
• Report all malfunctions/bugs/errors to managers to ensure immediate action is taken.
• QA reviews and support efforts to create and assure deliverables to maintain the quality of products delivered to the customer.
• Manage quality reports, and relevant quality documentation in a Digital Engineering environment such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Assist with other tasks, projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

Complete understanding and wide application of ISO-9001 quality principles, concepts, practices, and standards. AS9100 awareness is a plus.
• Knowledge of the Agile Framework and organized Incremental Project Teams (IPT).
• Performs assignments in the form of Quality Objectives and established goals to execute the DTAMM-Quality Assurance Program Plan (QAPP).
• Supports, communicates, and administers SAIC company quality policies and DTAMM Quality Policy and Objectives directly to DTAMM employees.
• Bachelor's degree and 14 or more years of relevant experience in technical quality assurance, or Master's degree and 12 years or more of relevant experience in technical quality assurance . May consider an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Active Secret clearance
• Experience in a complex, highly technical and fast-paced environment. Previous Space Force experience preferred.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail while also working towards high-level strategic objectives
