Full Job Description
Role:

The position involves developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving quality assurance processes to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in product design by reviewing drawings and technical change notices.
  • Ensure compliance with specifications by reviewing and approving work instructions, processes, and inspection points on production orders. Provide interpretations of acceptance criteria and optimize the control plan.
  • Coordinate problem-solving and corrective actions when nonconformities are detected, working with purchasing, production, design, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Conduct process and product compliance audits both internally and at suppliers' sites. Ensure effective corrective actions are implemented.
  • Analyze data and performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and lead continuous improvement projects.


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering with an interest in the manufacture of complex machined parts, electromechanical assemblies, or printed circuit boards (PCBs)
  • 2 or more years of experience
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership in one's field.
  • Strong communication skills in French and English.
  • A collaborative spirit and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (ASME Y14.5), AS 9100 quality standards, and aerospace work standards is also a requirement for this position.
  • Computer skills (word processing and spreadsheet applications) are also required.
