Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our team! As part of our team, the ideal person will participate with various aspects of our business in support of our QA program. You will be challenged to implement and maintain quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products. Responsible for planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution. Performs analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards (i.e. 10CFR50 appendix B, 10CFR21, 10CFR830 subpart A, NQA1, ISO-9001).

Salary Information: $68,600 - $100,000 annually

Your Challenge:

What You Bring:

  • Due to the nature of work performed at this site, incumbents must be a U.S. Person. 

  • Minimum of 2 years of quality assurance background and experience, or 5 years of relevant experience/education in lieu of a degree.

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field is preferred.

  • Experience in the commercial nuclear power generation industry desired but not required.

  • Experience with software quality assurance is a plus.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with others.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.

  • Experience in using ERP/MRP systems.

  • Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.

  • Excellent technical writing skills.
