QUALITY ASSURANCE & COMPLIANCE DIRECTOR (QASP LEAD)

Position Description:

The QASP Director ensures exam accuracy, timeliness, and compliance consistently exceed VA standards. They monitor performance trends, oversee clinical and operational quality, and lead corrective actions. Their oversight protects program integrity and minimizes rework.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Oversee quality assurance programs and compliance audits
Track timeliness, errors, cancellations, and remediation actions
Review DBQs and exam outputs for completeness and sufficiency
Coordinate examiner training and improvement cycles
Report performance trends to VA PMO

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelor's degree
6-8 years healthcare QA/QC experience
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Familiarity with disability exams or claims quality metrics
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Experience with VA QASP frameworks

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $70,800.00 $172,400.00.
