Description

Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, Senior
  • Is responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts in a prioritized and standardized manner as identified by the QA Manager, Director and Product Line Director
  • Participate in defining and communicating best practices
  • Coordinates and organizes automating and verification of assigned products to ensure the delivery of top-level software products to external clients


SECURITY AND PRIVACY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Individuals working for DSS will be subject to security and privacy requirements as explained in HIPAA, FedRAMP, and NIST 800-53. Additionally, they are required to undergo specific FedRAMP training to ensure compliance with all associated controls and responsibilities in the day-to-day performance of their duties. Individuals working in departments that are considered to be in the high-risk category will be required to undergo advanced training based on their role and level of access. Individuals with access to modify data and the configuration baseline will require further training.

Qualifications

Skills Required:
  • Candidate must be a team player and work closely with web automation development to build/support (WAF) Web Automation Framework
  • Candidate must have minimum 4 years of hands on Selenium (WebDriver) coding experience in creating functions, methods using C# language
  • Experience with automation tools and APIs such as NUnit, Grid, Appium, Git, Cucumber or SpecFlow, Docker, Bugzilla or Firebug
  • 2-3 years of experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using TFS technologies or related technologies, and 4+ years overall IT
  • Key technology experience in areas such as C#, AngularJS, REST, JSON, Node and VS 2015
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration (DevOps) tools (Open Source or commercially available such as TFS, Git or Docker)
  • Knowledge of Page Object Model design, Behavioral Drive Design (BDD) and Test Drive Design (TDD)
    • Has verifiable experience with QA software testing tools
    • Proficient in the Software Development Life Cycle
    • Prioritizes, manages time and is detail oriented.
    • Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills

Education:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information
  • Combination of education and experience can be substituted for a formal degree


Experience:

Required:
  • 3+ years' experience as a QA Automation Engineer and 1+ years as a QA software analyst.
  • 1+ year experience as a DSS QA Analyst I.
  • Desired:
    • Previous experience in utilizing automation tools such as:
      • Selenium
      • Quick Test Pro
    • Knowledge of programming languages
