QA Architect

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Lead/Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software releases through manual testing of new features and changes, developing comprehensive test plans, and collaborating with the automation team to ensure proper regression test coverage. You will take full ownership of the quality of our software releases.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct manual testing of new features, changes, and bug fixes to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Develop, document, and execute detailed test plans that cover functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Work closely with the automation team to integrate and maintain automated regression tests.
• Review and validate automated test results, ensuring correct test coverage and identifying any gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and automation, to ensure alignment on quality goals.
• Monitor and report on key quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and driving initiatives to address them.
• Take full responsibility for the quality of software releases, including final approval for release to production.
• Mentor and guide QA team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a QA Lead or in a similar role, with a strong background in manual testing and test plan development.
• Experience working with automation teams and understanding of automated testing frameworks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and ownership of quality-related tasks.
• Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies is a plus.
