What You Will Be Doing:
Join the J830 Quality North team at Lockheed Martin, where we play a crucial role in supporting the Final Production team. As a Quality Control Analyst, you will ensure that our products meet government compliance standards and are free from Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and defects. This position is vital to our mission, as you will be one of the last lines of defense before our products are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspection Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive inspection plans, procedures, and tools to effectively identify product defects.
Training & Mentorship: Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to the quality control workforce, enhancing their skills in quality control methods, techniques, and tools.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret data and metrics to drive actionable insights and foster continuous improvement in our quality processes.
Root Cause Collaboration: Work closely with Quality Engineering to investigate the root causes of defects and develop robust corrective actions.
Compliance Audits: Conduct surveillance audits to ensure compliance with the F-35 Quality Management Plan and other applicable standards.
Defect Containment Coordination: Develop and coordinate effective defect containment actions to mitigate potential issues.
Metrics Maintenance: Develop and maintain metrics related to:
-Product defects
-Variations in manufacturing processes
-Adherence to Lockheed Martin Aero and F-35 Quality Management Plans
-Compliance with engineering requirements and work instructions
-Overall health of the Quality Management System (Q&MS)

Basic Qualifications
• Experience analyzing data
• Experience reading and comprehending blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings, technical data and planning documents
• Experience utilizing precision measuring tools and inspection equipment
• Background experience utilizing Microsoft office tools
• Experience with root cause and corrective action
• Experience with project management

• Familiarity of Final Acceptance inspections and Safety of Flight areas on the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter or similar military fighter jets

• Excellent team working skills and the ability to work professionally with the customer
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience
• Thorough working knowledge of PDM, QADS, VAS, and SFM systems
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,800 - $130,180. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,900 - $147,085. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
