QNXT Technical Manager - (Remote, US)Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-TimeQNXT Technical Manager (Healthcare Payer Consulting)About the roleAs a QNXT Technical Manager, you will make an impact by leading the technical delivery, operational governance, and ongoing optimization of QNXT-based healthcare payer solutions. You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Consulting team, partnering with client stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, and operations leaders to ensure stable, scalable, and high-performing solutions that support critical healthcare business functions.
In this role, you will:- Lead end-to-end technical delivery for QNXT consulting, implementation, enhancement, and support engagements.
- Provide technical leadership across QNXT Claims, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, Interfaces, and Integrations.
- Drive root cause analysis and resolution of complex production issues impacting claims processing, membership, provider, and benefit operations.
- Oversee release management, environment governance, technical change management, and production support activities.
- Partner with client business and IT teams to design scalable solutions that align with operational and strategic objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop technical consultants while promoting QNXT best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and compliance requirements to ensure successful project delivery.

What you need to have to be considered- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of healthcare payer technology, consulting, implementation, or production support experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on QNXT technical experience supporting healthcare payer operations.
- Strong expertise with QNXT Claims Processing, Benefits Configuration, Workflow Engine (WFE), Batch Processing, and System Integrations.
- Experience supporting HIPAA EDI transactions including 837, 834, 820, and 27X transaction sets.
- Advanced SQL and database analysis skills with experience troubleshooting complex production issues.
- Deep understanding of QNXT Schema, architecture, data structures, and system dependencies.
- Proven experience leading technical teams and managing client-facing consulting engagements.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
These will help you stand out- QNXT Conversion, Migration, or Modernization experience.
- Experience supporting large-scale QNXT production environments.
- Knowledge of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, Duals, and ACA Exchange products.
- Experience with healthcare payer operations including Claims, Membership, Benefits, and Provider Management.
- Familiarity with release management, DevOps practices, and cloud-hosted environments.
- Experience leading offshore and distributed delivery teams.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory requirements, and audit controls.
Salary and Other Compensation:Applicants will be accepted till 10/25/2026
The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $113,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
