About the role
As a QEA Program Manager (Commercial P&C), you will make an impact by leading large-scale commercial underwriting and testing transformation programs for a strategic client. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering and Assurance organization and work collaboratively with CIOs, C level stakeholders, business leaders, and cross functional delivery teams to drive modernization, innovation, and measurable outcomes.

In this role, you will:
• Lead end to end program planning and execution for commercial underwriting and Quality Engineering initiatives
• Partner closely with CIOs and senior leadership to manage communication, expectations, and strategic alignment
• Influence and align CIO strategic goals with program delivery, including Test Automation, Gen AI implementation, and Data Strategy
• Drive organizational change management to support adoption of new processes, tools, and modernization strategies
• Champion transformation and innovation initiatives across Quality Engineering and Assurance
• Develop, manage, and govern program budgets while ensuring financial discipline and value delivery
• Identify program risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across multiple workstreams

Work model: Hybrid

Based on this role's business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week onsite at a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC. What you need to have to be considered:
• 10+ years of experience in Program or Project Management leading complex, enterprise initiatives
• 15+ years of Quality Engineering / Testing experience with strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques
• At least 3 years of experience within Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance
• Proven experience partnering with and influencing CIOs and senior executive stakeholders
• Strong blend of business and technical acumen, with the ability to translate strategy into execution
• Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written

These will help you stand out:
• Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs in Quality Engineering or Technology modernization
• Hands-on exposure to Test Automation, Gen AI enablement, and data-driven testing strategies
• Demonstrated success driving change management and adoption across distributed teams
