Full Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing multi-workstream Quality Control (QC) lab expansion efforts while also owning the master QC Inspection schedule across standard production work. The ideal candidate combines project coordination skills, technical awareness of lab and equipment needs, and strong scheduling/visibility discipline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support QC lab expansion projects, including layouts, equipment specification and procurement, process conformance reviews, staffing assessments, and timeline tracking.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules across 6-10 concurrent sub-projects, ensuring interdependencies and critical paths are visible and managed.
    Partner with engineering, manufacturing operations, and quality teams to ensure equipment needs and facility changes align with process requirements and compliance expectations.
  • Serve as master scheduler for QC inspections, maintaining accurate status of buy-parts, make-parts, incoming work, and current progress.
  • Track build readiness, constraints, and MCR (Material Condition Report) status updates to provide clear communication to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify schedule risks, delays, or resource gaps and work cross-functionally to drive mitigation plans.
  • Maintain tools, dashboards, or trackers ensuring schedule visibility and data accuracy.

Education and Licensure

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance if required.
  • Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing.
  • Please note that marijuana remains a Schedule III controlled substance under Federal Law. Federal contractors must follow Federal drug-free workplace rules, which prohibit marijuana use, even if medical or recreational use is permitted under State Law.
  • 8+ years of experience in project coordination, scheduling, and/or manufacturing operation planning. Equivalent education/experience combination can be considered.
  • Experience in project coordination, scheduling, or manufacturing operations planning (manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred).
  • Familiarity with lab workflows, equipment planning, or facility modification work is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Proficiency with scheduling tools (ERP/MRP systems, Gantt tools, Excel, or similar).
  • Ability to work across technical and operational teams to drive alignment and meet deadlines.
