Full Job Description
We are hiring for a QA Tester opportunity. Role: QA Tester Location: Remote Position: 1 Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in manual testing, regression testing, and defect tracking. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure software quality by creating comprehensive test plans, executing test cases, identifying defects, and supporting product releases. Experience with Selenium automation and SQL is a plus. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand business and functional requirements. • Analyze requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases. • Execute manual and regression testing to validate application functionality. • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the testing lifecycle. • Create detailed test scripts with step by step instructions for validating application features. • Support automation testing efforts using Selenium where applicable. • Work closely with developers to resolve issues and improve product reliability. • Participate in test execution, defect triage, and quality assurance activities throughout the SDLC. Required Skills: • Experience in manual testing. • Strong experience with regression testing. • Experience in defect tracking and defect lifecycle management. • Ability to understand business requirements and create effective test scripts. • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Selenium automation. • SQL knowledge for database validation and testing. • Experience working in Agile development environments. Expected Deliverables: • Comprehensive test plans. • Detailed test scripts with step by step execution instructions or automated test code. • Test execution results and defect reports. • Quality assurance documentation supporting successful product releases. Education Requirement: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
