Responsibilities

  • Review MEP mockups as needed
  • Document QA/QC deliverables throughout commissioning levels
  • Ensure inspection checklists are fully completed
  • Perform inspection for foreign object debris in MEP equipment
  • Conduct final equipment inspection prior to energization.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation for L3 deliverables is submitted
  • Assist with developing procedures for specific systems.
  • Organize documentation in required software platforms
  • Record observations during site walk-throughs and inspections
  • Manage issues and ensure timely resolution.

Full Job Description
QA/QC Engineer (MEP/Cx) Data center project field QA/QC role that is responsible to execute the JLL-SKAE QA/QC Program throughout the L1-L5 commissioning (Cx) levels or specified responsibilities based on our clients' requirements. It is required to work onsite full-time (40-50 hours a week) with the potential for overtime. Responsibilities • Review MEP Drawings, approved submittals and specifications as needed • Inspect incoming MEP equipment and complete the required receiving checklist on the required software platform • If required, perform preparatory phase meetings with all subcontractors and confirm readiness to work onsite • Review MEP mockups for equipment or specific systems as required per specifications • Document and track all required QA/QC deliverables and test reports during L2 and L3 (NETA, Short Circuit Study, Torque/Megger sheets, TAB etc...) • Ensure that all set-in place inspection checklists are completed by JLL-SKAE and the subs/vendors • Perform inspection for foreign object debris (FOD) inside MEP equipment if required • Perform final equipment inspection prior to L3 Energization. • Ensure all L3 document deliverables including startup reports are provided. • Assist with the development of methods of procedure (MOP's) for specific equipment and systems. • Track and organize all required documentation for L1-L3 on Procore or other software platform • Record observations and issues in the required software platform during walk throughs and inspections • Manage all issues and observations in the required software platform and ensure timely closeout Qualifications • Ability to be a self-starter • OSHA-30 certified or within 30 days of employment • At least 3 years of data center experience • At least 2 years of QA/QC experience • Strong familiarity with the Cx/QA/QC process • Strong onsite safety awareness • Is willing to be a traveler and assigned to projects in other regions in the US. • Preferred- Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) certified • Preferred- NFPA-70E certified • Preferred- Work experience with high profile data center clients This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Estimated compensation for this position: 90,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
