  • Maintain a visible presence on the production floor, partnering with Operations and Maintenance to continuously improve product quality and manufacturing performance.
  • Lead customer complaint investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with SQF, regulatory, customer and corporate quality standards.
  • Analyze and present quality data, trends and KPIs to support operational decision-making and plant performance.
  • Monitor quality metrics including rejects, scrap, rework, product holds and non-conformances while implementing solutions that improve overall performance.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems, procedures, documentation and training programs.
  • Foster a proactive quality culture built on accountability, urgency, collaboration and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For
  • Post-secondary education in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology or another related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Statistical Process Control (SPC), root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Experience leading quality investigations, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify trends and present meaningful recommendations that drive action.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with SQF or comparable food safety certification programs is strongly preferred.
  • Food and/or beverage manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting plastics manufacturing would be considered an asset.
  • SAP experience is considered an asset.

Why Join Ice River Sustainable Solutions?
  • Competitive salary of $100,000-$115,000 plus annual performance bonus.
  • Opportunity to influence quality culture at the site leadership level.
