Job Summary:
This role works closely with management to review and maintain production standards, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and continued effectiveness in supporting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include analyzing past production data, leading a team to achieve departmental and company goals, reporting abnormalities, and maintaining accurate, organized records. The role also ensures QA areas are audit-ready and compliant with ISO and customer requirements, verifies that only certified inspectors work on product specifications, and oversees shipment approval activities. Additional responsibilities include reviewing business metrics, identifying and documenting improvement opportunities, inspecting manufacturing processes, updating policies to enhance quality standards, and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented changes. The role also requires ensuring compliance with health, safety, financial, and equal opportunity regulations, as well as supporting management in communicating client requirements to sales and marketing teams.

The experience and responsibilities we're looking to add to our team:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Ability to solve problems involving several variables in standardized situations
  • Demonstrates advanced technical and process skills
  • Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the function and Flex business
  • Highly skilled with flexibility to move between shifts and product lines
  • Proactively assists the supervisor in achieving departmental goals and targets
  • Determines quality and testing methods and procedures for new assignments


Education/Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of Quality Experience
