Full Job Description
  1. Primary Function:

Oversee and participate in the inspection and testing of raw materials, finished goods, and testing equipment to ensure adherence to established standards. Reviews data, looks for trends and works with manufacturing to improve process parameters for product. Identifies issues with product quality and makes corrective recommendations to the Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams. Possesses a working knowledge of manufacturing / processing specifications, product specifications, and product testing equipment and calibration. Fill in on other jobs throughout plant, as required.

Tasks include but are not limited to:
  1. Oversee activities of the quality department.
  2. Inspect and test material for quality defects.
  3. Conduct comprehensive data analysis and reports.
  4. Represent plant in Quality Corporate meetings
  5. Purpose and/or support QA manual changes
  6. Comprehensive understanding of all production positions.
  7. Document SPC data as needed, including Power Point, Excel, and Word presentations and communications to management and hourly staff
  8. Leads and coordinates training of new QA team members.
  9. Comprehensive understanding of CAPA skills
  10. Coordinate testing on incoming raw materials and work with management to create and monitor future testing and controls.
  11. Back-up to support FM/UL Auditor visits / Audits
  12. Fill in for technicians in the department.
  13. Other duties as assigned by management.
