Job Title: QA Engineer - Secure Infrastructure & Systems (Onsite)
Category: TECH - QA
Location: Onsite in Redmond/Bellevue, WA
Employment Type: Contract - 5 Months
Pay Rate: Up to $62/hour (W2 only)
Hours: 40 hours/week
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens and Green Card Holders only (W2)

Overview
We are hiring multiple QA Engineers to support a highly secure and confidential government-adjacent initiative developing next-generation connectivity and communications platforms. The program is tied to critical infrastructure and involves Department of Defense-related technologies, requiring exceptional attention to quality, detail, and operational reliability.

You'll be responsible for both manual and automated testing across web and mobile interfaces-delivering stable, scalable software in a fast-paced engineering environment. This role is ideal for hands-on QA professionals who want to work on real-world platforms that support national-level initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, write, and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and manual test cases for new and existing features
  • Build and maintain scalable test infrastructure for cross-platform (web/mobile) applications
  • Extend existing automation frameworks to maintain an effective regression test suite
  • Participate in release cycles, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and triage
  • Collaborate across QA, product, and development teams to deliver high-confidence releases
  • Provide leadership on testing best practices and contribute to secure, compliant software validation
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automation testing
  • Proven track record leading QA for medium-to-large projects
  • Experience with modern QA tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium)
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and RESTful services
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, debugging ability, and test case design
  • Ability to work onsite in a controlled-access, secure facility
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience testing across both iOS and Android environments
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as Mocha, Jasmine, Protractor, or TestNG
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, GitLab, or Jenkins
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field preferred
  • Comfortable working in a regulated or high-compliance environment
