Job DescriptionAbout the Job: The Quality Engineer III is responsible for undertaking validation of the Voice AI Drive Thru system business flow end to end (from customer facing technologies till reporting) and drive impact across the Taco Bell business through identification and driving resolution of key failure points of system landscape. Quality Engineer III will report to the
Manager, QA Engineering, Taco Bell Corp, Information Technology-RIS. ResponsibilitiesThe Day-to-Day: - Analyze requirements, design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to cover requirements.
- Lead testing efforts for Voice AI Systems and its integrations with POS, Touch KDS, Drive Thru Menu and Order Confirmation Board, eCommerce, Delivery and home office reporting
- Setup up and maintain test environments and test data as needed.
- Identify and document software defects and report them to project and development teams along with other quality metrics like defect leakage, schedule variance, defect densities and open defect counts.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality experience and menu updates by participating in Agile development processes and daily stand-up meetings to ensure status updates are provided to the stakeholders on testing progress.
- Participate in continuous improvements initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies by implementing test automation technics, AI assisted process improvements.
QualificationsIs this you? - Have a bachelor's degree
- Have at least 3 years' thorough hands-on experience in POS systems, Drive Thru Voice AI Systems, database knowledge, Linux, MongoDB, AWS DynamoDB, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, Couchbase, Power BI reporting tool, KQL, JSON and XML files, REST API, Python, Java Script, TypeScript.
- Have working experience in tools like Microsoft office applications, AWS technologies, Notepad++, PostMan, Point of sale hardware and its accessories.
- Have understanding and knowledge of validation process and methodologies.
- Passion to learn new technology and processes curiosity to collaborate with subject matter experts.
- Have hands on Test Automation Knowledge

Salary Range $108,300 to $127,500 annually + bonus eligibility + equity (if applicable) + benefits
