Overview

In this role, you will serve as a hands-on manual tester responsible for validating tickets and features throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring quality and functionality align with project requirements and user expectations. As a secondary responsibility, you will help maintain and extend our existingPlaywright-based automation suite, contributing to automated test coverage as the project evolves. Rather than building a new framework from the ground up, you will work within established automation patterns and tooling to enhance and sustain what is already in place.

Responsibilities
  • Perform manual testing of tickets/features, including exploratory, functional, UI/UX, and regression testing
  • Query and validate data directly in the database using SQL to confirm test data availability and correctness
  • Write and execute test cases and test plans for assigned tickets
  • Track defects, document results, and close out tickets with clear pass/fail evidence
  • Maintain and extend our existing Playwright automation suite as time allows (secondary priority, not primary)
  • Support 508 compliance and performance/load testing as needed
  • Collaborate with developers to reproduce and clarify reported issues
  • Present in front of executive level leadership
  • Act as liaison among multiple QC/Testing teams, coordinating results and reproducing issues
  • Identify process improvements in the QC/Testing process
Qualifications

  • Familiar with UI/UX and 508 testing
  • Experience testing custom and web applications
  • Strong communication skills need to document and report findings clearly
  • Capable of thorough regression testing

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Playwright specifically is a plus
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) a plus
  • Familiarity with common scripting/programming languages (JS, Python, .NET, etc.)
  • Experience with Visual Studio and VS Code
