Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA Delivery Manager to lead quality engineering, testing strategy, and delivery for a large-scale Enterprise Data Platform initiative. This role will oversee end-to-end quality assurance across multiple data domains, including policy, premium, underwriting, finance, actuarial, and operational data. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data warehousing, ETL testing, cloud data platforms, and enterprise quality governance, combined with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. This position will drive testing excellence, ensure data integrity, and support successful delivery of critical business and regulatory initiatives.

In this role, you will:
• Lead quality assurance and testing activities for Enterprise Data Platform and Enterprise Data Warehouse implementations.
• Define and execute comprehensive QA strategies, testing frameworks, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria.
• Manage testing delivery across multiple releases, source-system onboarding initiatives, modernization programs, and platform enhancements.
• Oversee validation of policy, premium, underwriting, finance, actuarial, and operational data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Lead data reconciliation, reporting validation, lineage verification, historical data migration testing, and business rule validation efforts.
• Establish governance processes for defect management, triage, prioritization, escalation, and closure across multiple workstreams.
• Monitor delivery health, testing progress, quality KPIs, defect trends, and business impacts while providing regular updates to leadership.
• Collaborate with business, data engineering, architecture, governance, and program teams to ensure alignment with delivery objectives.
• Support deployment validation, hypercare activities, root cause analysis, and operational stabilization following production releases.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including test automation, AI-driven quality engineering, and process optimization.
• Lead onsite-offshore QA teams, providing direction, mentoring, and oversight for successful execution of testing activities.

What you need to have to be considered
• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Data Validation, or Enterprise Testing roles.
• Strong experience leading large-scale Data Warehouse, ETL, Data Integration, or Enterprise Data Platform testing programs.
• Deep expertise in Data Warehousing, ETL Testing, Data Quality, Reconciliation, Data Governance, and Reporting Validation.
• Experience working with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of data lineage, traceability, historical data migrations, incremental data processing, and enterprise reporting validation.
• Proven experience managing onsite-offshore delivery teams and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience defining testing strategies, governance frameworks, defect management processes, and quality metrics.
• Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, and program leadership skills.
• Familiarity with AI/GenAI-enabled testing, test automation frameworks, and modern quality engineering practices.
• Commercial Insurance domain experience, including Policy Administration, Underwriting, Premium Management, Claims, Finance, or Actuarial functions, is highly preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[98,500 - 115,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
