Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
  • Lead the QA Automation team in designing and implementing scalable test automation solutions.
  • Define automation strategy, standards, best practices, and governance across multiple projects.
  • Mentor and coach QA engineers on automation tools, coding standards, and quality engineering practices.
  • Drive adoption of shift-left testing and continuous quality engineering methodologies.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers, Architects, Product Owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality objectives are achieved.
Automation Development
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Python.
  • Build robust automated test suites for:
    • Functional Testing
    • API Testing
    • Regression Testing
    • Integration Testing
    • Performance Testing
    • End-to-End Testing
  • Improve automation coverage and execution efficiency.
  • Perform code reviews for automation scripts and frameworks.
Cloud & DevOps Integration
  • Implement cloud-native testing solutions in AWS.
  • Design and execute automation tests for cloud-based applications and microservices.
  • Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as:
    • Jenkins
    • GitHub Actions
    • GitLab CI/CD
    • Azure DevOps
  • Enable automated quality gates and reporting.
AI-Driven Quality Engineering
  • Evaluate and implement AI-powered testing solutions.
  • Leverage Generative AI for:
    • Automated test case generation
    • Test data creation
    • Defect prediction and analysis
    • Self-healing test automation
    • Intelligent test execution optimization
  • Drive innovation using AI and machine learning techniques to improve software quality and testing efficiency.
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
  • Establish test strategy, test planning, and quality metrics.
  • Define and track KPIs including:
    • Automation Coverage
    • Defect Leakage
    • Test Execution Success Rate
    • Release Quality Metrics
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and implement quality best practices.
  • Participate in release readiness reviews and production support activities.
