Job SummaryThe Python Developer will join the Cryptography and Secrets Management squad to design and implement new features, tooling, and automations supporting cybersecurity controls. This role contributes to improving resiliency, reliability, and user experience across global teams in North America, Europe, and India. The developer will foster a culture of ownership and independence while delivering secure, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop integrations for Enterprise HSM and Key Management Solutions.
- Implement tooling and AI agents for operational enablement and cybersecurity remediation.
- Perform DevSecOps tasks including CI/CD service delivery.
- Develop testing frameworks and suites.
- Troubleshoot issues and participate in on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with squad and stakeholders across Technology.
- Enforce architectural standards and usability design principles.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
Required Qualifications- 4+ years of Python development in enterprise or industrial contexts.
- Strong knowledge of Python libraries: requests, json, logging, argparse, subprocess, pandas, pytest.
- 2+ years of Bash/Shell scripting experience.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
- Proficiency in Linux environments.
- Experience with Git version control and CI/CD platforms (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Understanding of vulnerability management, remediation workflows, and secure software development practices.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Collaborative approach with ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with enterprise Hardware Security Modules (e.g., Thales Luna HSM, Luna client) and PKCS#11.
- Experience with enterprise Key Management Solutions (e.g., Thales CipherTrust Manager).
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
- Knowledge of reliability practices (SLOs, incident response, observability engineering).
- Cybersecurity expertise in encryption, secret management, CVE remediation, authentication/authorization, and PKI.
Certifications- Relevant cybersecurity or software development certifications (preferred)
