Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Python Automation Engineer(Mainframe and zO/S environment) with expertise in Python development, automation scripting, and Unix/Linux administration to build and support data integration, reporting, and process automation solutions within a z/OS environment. The role involves developing data extraction and loading processes, automating operational workflows, enabling centralized reporting, and supporting enterprise infrastructure platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and solutions for infrastructure and operational processes.
  • Build extract, transform, and load (ETL) scripts to provide data feeds from patch and RSU maintenance databases to a centralized database.
  • Design and implement processes for extracting data required for centralized reporting and management reviews.
  • Build and maintain data ingestion processes for vendor data feed reporting.
  • Develop automated daily reporting and summary generation processes for management and operational teams.
  • ssist in automating process flows, workflow tracking, and operational activities defined through the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and platform teams to improve reporting accuracy, process efficiency, and automation capabilities.
  • Maintain technical documentation for automation solutions, reporting processes, and data integration workflows
Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Python development and automation scripting.
  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
  • Unix/Linux administration experience.
