Purchasing Manager

What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role you will manage >$5M annual spend across commodities, ensuring alignment with financial and business goals
  • You will lead and develop a team of buyers while driving procurement performance
  • Further, you will partner cross-functionally (Production, R&D, Engineering) to ensure material flow and support new product development
  • You will analyze market trends and provide commodity insights to inform strategic decisions
  • Moreover, you will build and manage strong supplier relationships, including negotiations, performance monitoring, and corrective actions
  • Additionally, you will drive cost savings and operational improvements using total cost of ownership and continuous improvement initiatives


What makes you great

  • You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent) and you have already gained 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and understanding of procurement and operational processes
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • You are a self-motivated, results-driven, with a positive and customer-focused mindset
  • Preferred: Supply chain certifications (e.g., ISM, CPM, CPSM) and experience in strategic procurement (domestic or global)
