DescriptionThe City of Marysville is seeking a visionary executive leader for the position of
Public Service Director. Serving as a key member of the leadership team, this role acts as a strategic steward of the City's physical identity-aligning department vision and operations with the City's Strategic Plan and mission while overseeing specialized infrastructure management and community aesthetics to support sustainable municipal growth.
Job Responsibilities - Lead the Fleet, Parks, Recreation & Events, Streets, and Facilities divisions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) from design to closeout.
- Develop multi-divisional budgets and perform advanced cost-benefit forecasting.
- Oversee urban forestry, horticultural science, and proactive equipment replacement schedules.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the City Manager to support City Council and stakeholders on infrastructure and emergency response.
Job Requirements - Education: A bachelor's degree in public administration, public works management, or related field from a college or university of recognized standing is required.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of progressively responsible public sector management experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Ohio driver's license with a clean record.
