What you will be doing:
As a Public Health Specialist 2, you'll help strengthen Alaska's response to major medical emergencies, including heart attack and stroke. Working with hospitals, clinics, EMS agencies, and local, state, Tribal, private, and nonprofit partners, you'll help develop and improve the statewide Major Medical Emergencies System. You'll use data and collaboration to identify opportunities for improvement and support the development of education, protocols, and system processes. This position offers the opportunity to improve coordination of care and help ensure Alaskans experiencing medical emergencies receive timely, high-quality care.

Denali, and the Cook Inlet, with Cuddy Family Mid-Town Park nearby. The working environment and culture are friendly, flexible, and supportive, and staff is currently working hybrid schedules (remotely and in-office).
