Summary:
Goldbelt Professional Services is seeking a Public Health Analyst II to provide senior support for program evaluation within the Office of the Director (OD).
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide substantive input on, and lead portions of, development of a comprehensive evaluation plan for Division-wide HAI and AR prevention/response activities.
- Implement evaluation activities focused on HAI and antimicrobial resistance, including instrument design, pilot testing, and quantitative/qualitative data collection.
- Review evaluation literature, epidemiologic, and surveillance data to inform work.
- Lead analysis, interpretation, and presentation/reporting of qualitative and quantitative data.
- Engage internal and external leadership and staff for input and evaluative consultation.
- Use performance/evaluation data to disseminate scientific information via presentations, reports, and other materials.
- Participate during CDC response activities and training exercises under direction of the DHQP Team Lead; duties include staffing the EOC desk to help support CDC's mission.

- Ability to handle a variety of constituencies, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a complex environment while balancing multiple competing priorities.
- Expertise in project management tools and software, including but not limited to: Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote.
- Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication in interpersonal exchanges.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with the government procedures and guidelines.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CDC Public Trust Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in program analysis, public health, healthcare, research, or a related field.
- Prior experience working with the CDC is highly desired to understand the culture and environment.
Pay and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $105,000 to $115,000 annually.
