Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking an attorney with at least five years of transactional experience (public finance preferred) to join the Public Finance group in our Missoula office.

Dorsey & Whitney LLP is seeking an attorney with at least five years of transactional experience (public finance preferred) to join the Public Finance group in our Missoula office. This role is well suited for a lawyer who is ready to take on a more central role in a sophisticated public finance practice and who values close collaboration with a senior team that is actively engaged in the long-term growth of the platform. The position offers meaningful involvement across the full lifecycle of public finance transactions, including advising on state and local matters and navigating complex federal and state tax issues. The successful candidate will serve as core bond counsel on governmental and economic development financings and will have the opportunity to develop a distinct private activity practice, including work in health care, housing, exempt facilities, and other specialized transactions. This is a highly relational, market-facing practice. A willingness to engage directly with clients, travel throughout the state, and participate in speaking and networking opportunities is essential.

Candidates will be considered for a partner-track associate or income partner role, depending on experience.

The following qualifications are required:
- A JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Montana bar admission or the ability to become admitted in Montana
- At least five years of relevant experience
