About the PositionWe are seeking a compassionate and experienced
Licensed Psychologist to join our behavioral health team. The psychologist will provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of mental health concerns.
This role is supported through funding from the
Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)* and is intended to attract experienced providers who are relocating to and establishing residency in our rural service area. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a
competitivesign-on bonus/relocation bonus in exchange for a multi-year employment commitment. Eligibility requirements apply.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations
- Integrate assessment findings and develop individualized, practical recommendations
- Provide feedback to clients, parents, caregivers, and other relevant parties
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatric and mental health therapy providers
- Participate in consultation and case collaboration when helpful
- Continue developing your areas of assessment expertise through training and professional development
- Maintain compliance with professional, ethical, and legal standards.
Qualifications- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited program.
- Current Iowa psychologist license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience providing psychological assessment and/or psychotherapy.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in Iowa.
- DEA certification.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working in a clinical, hospital, community mental health, or private-practice setting.
- Training in evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-focused therapy.
- Experience administering and interpreting standardized psychological assessments.
