Mount Sinai- Concierge Care seeks a full-time Psychologist for its state-of-the-art Concierge and employer-based medical facility in Hudson Yards!

Responsibilities

Role Summary:

Under direction of the Medical Director, the Psychologist is responsible for providing evidence-based, short-term therapeutic services at a next-generation health center at Hudson Yards. The Psychologist should be comfortable working in a variety of treatment modalities as well as treating a wide range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, panic disorders, personality disorders, OCD, substance abuse and eating disorders. The psychologist should also feel comfortable conducting risk assessments and providing crisis management as needed. This is a hybrid (in-person/virtual) role. Specific duties include:

Delivers evidence-based therapy and treatment

  • Conduct individual intake assessments, and evidence-based, outcome oriented psychotherapy through both traditional face-to-face visits as well as non-visit based interactions (e.g. phone, digital messaging, and video chat).
  • Prepare treatment plans with measurable goals, monitor progress using standardized instruments and update interventions based on patient progress.
  • Provide brief one-time skill sessions for patients in the Executive Physical program
  • Serve as the "in-house" behavioral health expert, educating staff on how to monitor and treat on-going psychological disorders and incorporate behavioral health changes.
  • Initiates referrals to specialty services and ensures bi-directional communication with specialist to promote continuity of care.
  • Carries out other appropriate professional duties as may be necessary, including liaison with outside medical consultants, hospitalists, emergency room providers, etc. to ensure continuity of care, timely, appropriate care, and an excellent patient experience.
  • Works collaboratively with other staff to promote team-based care while also working independently to deliver therapeutic services.


Supports clinical operation and improvement activities
  • Actively engages in practice innovation and improvement initiatives.
  • Engages in the review of data and clinical workflows of the practice and ensures systems and programs are in place to provide exceptional, safe, and compliant care.
  • Conducts clinical case review and participates in educational sessions to stay current and improve one's practice of therapy.


Supports wellness offerings and marketing efforts
  • Participates in the development and execution of outreach events including wellness and health promotional offerings, educational activities, nutrition initiatives, fitness classes, etc.
  • Supports the planning, operation, and evaluation of wellness activities.
  • Participates in communicating and marketing the practice model to new patients as well as other stakeholders such as clients, patients, and third-party vendors.

Compensation range from 127K to 132K (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits).
