IU Health Medical Group West Region in Lafayette is seeking a
Clinical Psychologist to join our growing team!
Position Details - Full-time employed position
- Monday - Friday
- 100% outpatient work
- Patient volume: 40/week
- Established team of Psychiatrists, Advanced Practice Providers, Therapists, and support staff.
Responsibilities - Performs complete diagnostic evaluation of patients by administering the appropriate tests and measurements to determine level of impairment.
- Performs direct patient care services utilizing appropriate techniques and procedures as defined by the department.
- Develops a treatment plan based upon the evaluation, patient goals and goals established to optimize treatment and the recovery of the patients.
- Modifies treatment programs at regular intervals documenting patient progress and response to treatment.
- Provides education, training, and support to patient/family to assist with treatment requirements , discharge planning and home programming.
- Strives to meet and exceed individual/patient/ family and other customer expectations.
Qualifications: - PsyD or PhD required
- Current licensure by the State of Indiana as a Health Services Provider in Psychology (HSPP) required
- Experience in ADHD testing preferred
- Experience in ASD assessment/testing preferred
- Experience with DBT and CBT preferred.
- Experience with internal family systems, acceptance and commitment therapy preferred.
- Adult and child experience preferred.
