Position Overview: As a Psychiatrist at Priority Group Services, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive psychiatric care to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:
    • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments of children and adolescents.
    • Formulate accurate psychiatric diagnoses based on clinical evaluations.
  • Treatment Planning:
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans.
    • Implement evidence-based practices to address emotional and behavioral challenges.
  • Medication Management:
    • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as needed.
    • Monitor and adjust medication regimens based on treatment progress.
  • Collaboration and Consultation:
    • Work closely with therapists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
    • Provide consultation to team members regarding psychiatric aspects of cases.
  • Documentation:
    • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
    • Communicate effectively with team members through written reports and meetings.
  • Crisis Intervention:
    • Participate in crisis intervention as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry.
