Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree and valid Virginia medical license required.
• Completed psychiatric residency with eligibility or certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
• Minimum one year experience in psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adolescents or adults.
• Current DEA certification is necessary.
• Multilingual candidates are encouraged, with additional compensation considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide treatment to patients.
• Manage medication for individuals receiving psychiatric care.
• Consult with clinical staff regarding medical service issues.
• Deliver presentations and training to agency and community stakeholders.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in compliance with regulations.
