Department/Location: Psychiatric Services - Med Clinic

The Psychiatrist provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for assigned patients. This position will also deliver services to selected Network180 service providers.

This position is 32 hours a week, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours. On-call emergency psychiatric coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays per arranged schedule.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed in the State of Michigan as a Physician and valid DEA license.
  • Medical Degree with an active, unencumbered license.
  • Ability to be paneled by all insurance carriers.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal and human relations skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job related use.
  • Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and skills and capabilities of bridging language/cultural barriers to Network 180 services within diverse communities.
  • Ability to adhere to Network180 policies resulting from HIPAA privacy rules regarding individually identifiable health information concerning individuals served or employed by Network180 and credentialing.
