Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments ofelderly patients.
- Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on thepatient's mental health needs.
- Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians,psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
- Educate patients and their families about mental healthconditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliancewith organizational and regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and qualityimprovement initiatives.

Requirements- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York withspecialization in Psychiatry (PMHNP).
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
- Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of psychiatric medicationsand treatment modalities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establishrapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basiccomputer skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
