Qualifications

• Florida APRN License - Nurse Practitioner required
• PMHNP-BC Certification (ANCC) mandatory
• Active Florida RN License necessary
• DEA Registration (or eligibility) needed
• Prescriptive Authority for Controlled Substances essential
• Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, medication management, and treatment planning preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations to create tailored treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage medications to achieve therapeutic aims
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for holistic patient care
• Engage in regular patient education on mental health management
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment
