Position Details:The Certified Registered Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides overall clinical direction for care in a manner consistent with the philosophy, mission, and vision of the organization. The Nurse Practitioner will adhere to the requirements set forth by the organization's established processes and procedures in serving clients and their families.
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner provides medication management and directs the program of the
Assertive Community Treatment Team, a self contained clinical team which assumes responsibility for directly providing needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to identified clients with severe and persistent mental health illnesses: supervises and evaluates the multidisciplinary team in conjunction with appropriate psychiatric support to ensure service excellence and courteous, helpful and respectful services to program clients; and functions as a practicing clinician on the team.
The office is located in Alexandria and will cover Region 6. This is a contract rate position and requires travel within the community.
