Job DescriptionThe agency is currently recruiting for a Psychiatric / MH Nurse Practitioner. ARNP is part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and coordination with community providers.
Job DutiesPosition responsibility includes performing psychiatric diagnosis and treatment including prescribing and managing medication therapy, obtaining health histories, teaching and recommending other services as necessary. Position has clinical responsibility for monitoring participant treatment and staff delivery of clinical services. The ARNP is responsible for assuring compliance with all local, state and federal laws and relevant contract and procedure requirements associated with the operations within the Medical Services Department.
Work Schedule Monday through Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Qualifications (EEO)Masters degree in Nursing, Psychiatric, VA Dept. of Health license as a Psychiatric ARNP with prescriptive authority, must have DEA certificate to prescribe controlled substance. Registration with the DEA Knowledge and skill in working with co-occurring MH and Substance use disorders

Are you currently Board Certified in the Commonwealth of Virginia and hold an active license in Family Medicine ?

Do you have a minimum of five years experience in the provision of suboxone treatment?

Do you have experience working in a MH/DD/SUD setting?
