Job Description
  • Leading direct reports, group leaders and their teams, and serving clients in technical settings, such as laboratories or manufacturing facilities
  • Monthly meetings with each direct report, the Eurofins department, and client managers
  • Disseminate administrative communications
  • Apply the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
  • Financial responsibilities as defined by the Director of the department
  • Demonstrate and promote the company vision
  • Proactively plan and multitask to maximize productivity
  • Meet all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrate strong teamwork and collaboration
  • Lead teams, schedules, and train employees in client environment
  • Organize technical resources and staff to accomplish client goals within given deadlines
  • Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
  • Ensure coverage and maximizes performance through management operating systems to gain efficiencies
  • Assist Director with business operations as needed
  • Stays current on relevant science and technology and consults knowledgeably with client contacts

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biology, chemistry or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • Business Management education or experience preferred
  • 3+ years of hands-on related experience
  • Leadership experience
  • Scientific background preference towards separations and characterizations methods like liquid chromatography, capillary electrophoresis, and spectrophotometry
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A good understanding of day-to-day business operations
  • Demonstrate strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship


Additional Information

This Position is a full-time position, 8 hour days, Monday - Friday with required core hours between 9:00am - 3:00pm with potential overtime or flexed hours as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Malvern, PA are encouraged to apply.
