PSDO Operations and Transformation Manager
This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with a requirement that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Leadership: Support and execute the organization’s automation and operations roadmap with alignment to business priorities. Identify targeted opportunities for automation and process improvement across operations. Collaborate with executives to align initiatives with business goals and operational excellence.
Implementation & Management: Oversee deployment of automation tools (including RPA and selective AI solutions) within existing operational workflows. Collaborate with digital and transformation teams to evaluate relevant technologies. Ensure smooth integration with enterprise systems and operational processes.
Optimization & Monitoring: Track operational metrics, including efficiency, quality, and ROI from automation initiatives. Continuously refine workflows using Lean and continuous improvement approaches to enhance speed and cost-effectiveness. Establish governance frameworks aligned with compliance and enterprise standards.
Team & Collaboration: Lead cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and data resources. Provide training and support for adoption of new tools and process improvements. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and pragmatic innovation.
Provides overall people-care management for direct reports, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and career development; strengthens organizational capability, fosters continuous learning, and supports adaptability to evolving business needs and technologies.
Communicates strategy, operational priorities, and roadmap updates to executive staff and stakeholders; leverages strong business and technical expertise to influence decisions, drive alignment, and support evolving organizational priorities. Manages headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs across multiple programs, ensuring effective resource allocation and delivery against goals, timelines, and budgets while adapting to changing business priorities and managing ambiguity effectively.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing / Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
- Requires at least 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automation, AI implementation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- At least 5 years of leadership or management or leadership experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong people leader experience in leading operations, strategic initiatives, global transformation programs, AI tools and automations etc.
- Strong background in AI, machine learning, and automation technologies.
- Core PLM Competency skills with SAP S4 HANA, PTC Windchill, Oracle Agile etc.
- PLM Process Knowledge: Extensive experience with PLM processes, methods, and tools, including CAD integration, Part, BOM, Document, and Change Management.
- Advanced leadership skills, including coaching, teambuilding, conflict resolution, and management.
- Superior business acumen, technical knowledge of multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies
