Full Job Description
Location & Work Environment: This is a hybrid, field-based opportunity supporting the Newark market. The successful candidate must be based in Newark, NJ, or within a reasonable commuting distance, and be comfortable working in the field throughout the work week. Workdays and schedules may fluctuate based on provider needs, business priorities, and field activities.

The Provider Network Management Senior Associate is a critical field-based role accountable for the end-to-end lifecycle of the provider relationship. This includes building a strategic pipeline, advocating for the PACE model to secure new contracts, and managing the ongoing operational performance of the network. This role ensures that our high-caliber provider partners are seamlessly integrated into WelbeHealth's commitment to serve frail seniors.

This role is different because the Provider Network Management Senior Associate at WelbeHealth:
  • Owns the provider relationship from pipeline to performance, providing the opportunity to identify and develop new provider partnerships, advocate for the PACE model, lead contracting efforts, and build lasting relationships that support a high-performing provider network
  • Combines field-based relationship management with strategic network growth, providing the opportunity to work directly with providers and health systems while partnering cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Utilization Management, Claims, and PACE leadership to improve access, performance, and the provider experience

We care about our team members. That's why we offer:
  • Medical insurance coverage (Medical, Dental, Vision)
  • Work/life balance - We mean it! 17 days of personal time off (PTO), 12 holidays observed annually, and 6 sick days
  • 401K savings + match
  • Comprehensive compensation package including base pay and bonus
  • And additional benefits!

On the day-to-day, you will:
  • Identify, research, and build a robust pipeline of potential provider partners within assigned geographies to meet expansion goals
  • Execute outreach strategies to prospective providers, serving as a primary advocate for the PACE model and its benefits to participants
  • Lead the process of getting prospective providers to sign contracts, partnering closely with the Network Strategy team to ensure alignment with organizational needs
  • Support the Network Strategy Manager in contracting with larger health systems, specialists, and facilities
  • Guide partners from initial training on plan policies and technology (e.g., Provider Portal) through ongoing engagement
  • Establish strong, trusted relationships with contracted partners, leading Joint Operating Committee (JOC) meetings when appropriate to ensure optimal performance and satisfaction
  • Build collaborative relationships with Clinical Operations, Utilization Management, Claims, and PACE center leadership to ensure seamless communication and workflow integration

Job requirements include:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field required; professional experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in provider relations field work; experience in a managed care organization preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to go above and beyond in providing service to providers or partners
  • Proven experience building trust-based relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders and delivering a service-centric experience
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

We're seeking a relationship-driven Provider Network Management Senior Associate who is energized by building trusted partnerships, developing new business opportunities, navigating complex contracting conversations, and helping providers deliver high-quality care to vulnerable seniors. If you're ready to join a team that values both its participants and team members, we'd love to hear from you!

Compensation consists of base salary plus bonus. WelbeHealth offers a competitive total rewards package that includes a 401(k) match, comprehensive healthcare coverage, and a broad range of additional benefits. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and relevant qualifications.
