Supervision Received: Director, Parkside OB-GYN

Location: Parkside OBGYN

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate OB/GYN APP to join our outpatient team, dedicated to delivering comprehensive women's health care in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate is someone who values continuity of care, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and thrives in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. This is an excellent opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine with a focus on wellness, education, and personalized care

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct comprehensive outpatient visits, including annual exams, prenatal and postpartum visits, and gynecologic problem-focused visits
  2. Perform in-office procedures such as Pap smears, IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals, and endometrial biopsies (as appropriate to license and training)
  3. Provide counseling and education on family planning, contraception, menopause, and preventive health
  4. Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
  5. Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
  6. Participate in clinical meetings, quality initiatives, and patient education programs
  7. May assist with triage and follow-up care by phone or patient portal


Required Skills & Education:
  • Current Nurse Practitioner (WHNP, FNP) or Physician Assistant certification and license in the state of South Carolina.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in women's health, OB/GYN, or primary care (new grads with relevant clinical experience may be considered)
  • DEA certification and BLS certification required
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical assessment skills
  • Passion for outpatient OB/GYN care and patient education


Other Requirements:
  • 2+ years in an outpatient OB/GYN or women's health setting (but new grads welcome to apply!)
  • Comfortable with a diverse patient population
  • Interest in integrative or holistic women's health


Environmental/Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to potentially dangerous/infectious materials, body fluids, and situations that require following extensive safety measures may be required and/or hours may be shortened as business needs dictate.


Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand at a computer terminal for long periods of time; may require standing/sitting/walking for more than four (4) hours per day
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity.
  • Prolonged use of telephone may be required.
