Location: This position will be based in Atlanta, GA. This role has the ability to be hybrid (3-4 days onsite). The Proposal Specialist, Sales Support will analyze and process customer requirements to prepare proposals and solutions that best fit their electrification needs, ensuring competitive pricing, technical and contractual compliance. You will work closely with the sales team, Business Developer Managers, internal stakeholders, and customers in various markets, promoting business generation for Heliox EV charging equipment and associated services.
This role supports a dynamic pipeline and includes a mix of routine quoting (service pricing, standard configurations) and more complex RFP/RFQ proposals for EV charging infrastructure projects. This is primarily an internal sales support role and does not carry an individual sales quota.
You'll make a difference with these duties: - Lead and support RFI/RFP/RFQ proposal development
- Review customer specifications and coordinate compliant technical and commercial solutions with internal teams
- Prepare pricing, scope, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, engineering, service, legal, project management, etc.)
- Ensure proposals meet technical and contractual requirements
- Track bid pipeline and approvals in CRM
- Support bid reviews, Limitation of Authority (LOA) approvals, and handoff to execution teams
- Support ongoing improvement of proposal templates and internal processes

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited 4-year university.
- +3 years experience with the following:
- Pre-sales, estimating, inside sales, or technical sales support
- Familiarity with pricing structures, basic financial terminology, and common commercial and contractual terms
- Electrical equipment or power systems
- Strong organization, communication, presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines across varying workload
- Able to work in a developing, fast-moving environment while maintaining strong organization across multiple bids
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM tools
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

The pay range for this position is $54,853 - $114,811 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
