What you’ll be challenged to do:
As aProposal Engineer, you will leadandsupportthe creation ofPowerproposals.
Youwill have experiencewriting andsupportingproposals in the Power Delivery space.In addition, you will have the opportunity todemonstrateyour ability to build effective relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the Power & Utility industry.
In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Develop technical proposals for power delivery projects, including substations, transmission lines, battery electric storage systems, solar farms and grid modernizations
- Balancing competing deadlines for multiple design-build opportunities
- Coordinate and prepare cost estimates, schedules and risk assessments with engineering,procurementand construction teams
- Ensure proposals meet utility standards,codesand regulations
- Interface with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes and technical data
- Understand contract terms andparticipatein bid reviews
- Collaborate with sales, projectmanagementand operations to align proposal strategy with business goals
- Maintain knowledge of market trends, emergingtechnologiesand utility practices in power delivery
What you will bring to our firm:
- MinimumBachelor27s degree in Engineering
- 8+ years progressive experience inproposalswithin power and utility industry
- Interest in or direct experience working in the consulting engineering profession
- Demonstrated ability with project management software and tools (Microsoft Project or similar) for scope,scheduleand budgetmanagement
- Commitment to driving strong business performance, continuous improvement, and best practices
What we prefer you bring:
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
- Experience with AI - Copilot
Compensation:The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 - $150,000.00. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
