Full Job Description
Location: Parkside at South Tryon Apartments; Charlotte, NC

Schedule: Full-Time (Monday-Friday; weekend availability required)

Compensation: $80,000-$83,000 / year (commensurate with certifications & experience)

Incentives: Quarterly performance-based bonus program

Qualifications

  • Experience: Two or more years of multi-family property management experience as a Property Manager or 4 or more years as an Assistant Property Manager.
  • Proficiency with leasing, marketing, and resident relations.
  • Financial Skills: Proven ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive NOI.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills; experience with property management software (Yardi is highly preferred).
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a team and resolve resident concerns with compassion.
  • Education & Certifications: High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred. CAM or CPM certification is a plus.
  • Requirements: Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation for local business needs.
  • Physical Demands: Physical ability to perform essential duties, including walking the property, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 40 lbs.

Key Responsibilities

As Property Manager, you will serve as the primary leader for the communities, ensuring operational success through:

  • Team Integration: Hiring, training, and mentoring a cohesive onsite team across leasing and maintenance to meet Banner's high standards.
  • Operational Oversight: Managing the full lifecycle of property operations, including marketing, budgeting, financial reporting, and rent collection.
  • Resident Advocacy: Building strong, lasting relationships with residents to drive satisfaction and long-term retention.
  • Compliance & Policy Management: Ensure the communities operate in full compliance with all legal requirements and company policies.
