Title: Property Broker
Location: Hybrid or fully remote
What is the Role?As a Property Broker, you will work closely with Account Executives, Producers, carrier partners, and clients to market, negotiate, and place commercial property insurance programs. You will support the placement and servicing of middle-market and large commercial property accounts while developing deep expertise in coverage analysis, carrier negotiations, and market strategy.

What You'll DoMarket Relationships- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance carriers, wholesalers, and specialty markets.
- Understand carrier appetites, underwriting requirements, and changing market conditions.
- Communicate regularly with underwriters to obtain terms, negotiate coverage, and secure competitive pricing.
Placement & Marketing- Assist in the development and execution of client renewal and placement strategies.
- Prepare marketing submissions and underwriting presentations.
- Review exposure schedules, valuation data, loss runs, and other underwriting information for accuracy.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple carriers.
- Analyze coverage terms, conditions, exclusions, and limitations.
- Negotiate pricing, coverage enhancements, and program structure on behalf of clients.
Account Support- Partner with Account Executives and Producers throughout the renewal process.
- Participate in client meetings and renewal presentations.
- Assist with policy reviews and coverage comparisons.
- Help address client questions regarding coverage and policy language.
- Support claims advocacy efforts when necessary.
Technical Responsibilities- Review binders, policies, endorsements, and carrier documentation for accuracy.
- Track renewal timelines and carrier deliverables.
- Maintain detailed records within EPIC and other agency management systems.
- Stay informed regarding property market trends, CAT activity, valuation issues, and emerging coverage developments.
QualificationsRequired- Active Property & Casualty insurance license.
- 3-7 years of commercial property insurance experience.
- Experience working for a retail broker, wholesale broker, carrier, MGA, or similar insurance organization.
- Strong understanding of commercial property insurance coverage concepts.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple renewals and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency management systems.
Preferred- Experience with middle-market or large commercial accounts.
- Exposure to layered and shared property programs.
- Familiarity with London, Bermuda, and domestic property markets.
- Professional designations such as CIC, ARM, CRM, or CPCU.
- Experience working with CAT-exposed property risks.
Compensation and BenefitsThe expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $140,000, depending upon experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
