We have a great hybrid opportunity for a Contracts Property Administrator in Colorado Springs, CO. The Property Administrator is responsible for maintaining the customer and Kratos Property Management Systems by sustaining official property records, property database and property files that demonstrate proper care and control of Government/Customer property in the possession of Kratos. The Contract Property Administrator will ensure records and files are maintained in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), any contract terms and conditions, and corporate policy. The Contract Property Administrator will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Ensuring property management compliance to: Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), any contract terms and conditions, and corporate policy.
• Properly identifying Government and Customer property acquired by and furnished to Kratos.
• Reporting loss, damage, theft, and destruction (LDDT), excess, receipt, and shipment of any Government property to the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
• Verify and review documentation for property location, condition, and quantities for accuracy.
• Ensure all required recordkeeping is documented and appropriately filed.
• Perform the tasks of property transfer, ship, disposition, and movement of Government and Customer property.
• Maintain accurate property database records; ensuring records are precise and contain all required information.
• Reviews DD Form 1149 and DD Form 250 for accuracy.
• Generate DD Form 1149 using internal database.
• Perform self-assessments in accordance with corporate and local procedures.
• Electronically file self-assessment results and artifacts; generating corrective action request which list discrepancies, root causes and implemented corrective actions.
• Responsible for Government and Customer property at all Kratos locations.
• Responsible for reporting of Government and Customer excess equipment, materials, tooling, and scrap that fall under the property control systems.
• Ensuring proper disposition of Government and Customer excess equipment, materials, tooling, and scrap.
• Review/update property procedures and play on an annual basis.
• Provide property training to program management on property procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience in Government Contract Property Management.
• Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information as required by government standards.
• Ability to interact effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Ability to use and navigate MS office with intermediate Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written.
• Prior hands-on experience with conducting and tracking physical inventories.
• Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) property administration
• Familiar with the 22 elements listed in the 2020 DCMA Guidebook
Preferred Skills/Experience
• Conducting and documenting physical inventories
• Use of property management database
• Conducting Contractor Self-Assessments
• Use of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE)[A(6.1]
• Have a current Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) NPMA Certification (Or Higher)
• Experience with executing the 22 elements listed in the 2020 DCMA Guidebook
• Prior Property Management System Analysis (PMSA) experience
• Experience with U.S. Air Force TMO shipping requirements
• Experience with Costpoint/Deltek
• Experience using AssetWorks software

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000
