Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a Project Services Business Analyst to partner with Turnaround and Project teams across the KAES fleet to define how project controls data is structured, standardized, and leveraged to drive business decisions. This role will translate complex project and turnaround processes into scalable, governed analytics solutions in partnership with IT and data platform teams, enabling consistent, enterprise decision-making through trusted data. They will successfully develop mutually beneficial relationships, advocate for positive data practices/adoption, and experiment constantly to innovate and transform our business.

This role will be located at our main campus in Wichita, Kansas.

What You Will Do
  • Define and standardize project controls data models, metric definitions, and reporting frameworks across KAES
  • Translate business processes and operational needs into structured data requirements and scalable reporting solutions
  • Partner with IT and data platform teams to design and implement sustainable, governed data solutions
  • Develop and enable standardized dashboards and self-service reporting that deliver clear, actionable insights
  • Establish and promote data integrity, consistency, and common data practices across project and turnaround teams
  • Drive alignment across business functions to ensure consistent interpretation and use of project data
  • Build trusted relationships across functions to connect business needs with data and analytics capabilities


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • 2-year college degree in a Business or Technical field, or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Comfortable adapting to and quickly learning new processes, technologies, or systems within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, solve business problems, and implement process or reporting improvements.
  • Experience prioritizing daily tasks to optimize value creation and support stakeholder interests
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% to our business sites in the US and Canada


What Will Put You Ahead
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics software such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, CoPilot Studio, or Alteryx
  • Experience using SQL and/or Python to deliver business solutions
  • Experience with data modeling concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, semantic layers) applied to business use cases
  • Experience in Turnaround or Capital projects within industrial or construction settings
  • 4-year college degree in a Business or Engineering field
