LAUSD's Project Execution group delivers the District's school construction and modernization projects. As Project Scheduler, you develop and maintain the construction schedules for District projects in Primavera P6, review contractor schedules, and analyze how delays and changes affect the schedule, including time impact analysis and windows analysis.
This is a full-time, in-person position for construction schedulers. The District has 3 openings.
What You Will Own
Construction schedules for District projects in Primavera P6, from the baseline through each update
Review of contractor baseline schedules, monthly updates, and recovery schedules
Time impact analysis and windows analysis, the methods that measure how a delay or change moved the project's completion date
Schedule forensics, meaning the review of a past schedule to show where time was lost and why
Schedule narratives that explain progress, delays, and the critical path, the chain of work that sets the finish date
Cost engineering and scheduling support to the project team
Requirements
What You Bring
6 years of construction scheduling experience for an owner or a general contractor (required for this role)
Primavera P6 version 19 and Microsoft Office (required for this role)
A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field, or any bachelor's degree plus 2 additional years of scheduling experience (required for this role)
Experience with time impact analysis, windows analysis, and schedule forensics
A sample construction schedule narrative that you wrote, submitted with your resume (required to be considered)
Eligibility
Only construction schedulers will be considered
Candidates submitted to LAUSD for the Project Scheduler classification in 2025 are not eligible for this call

Compensation
Salary range: $171,000 to $188,000 per year, based on experience.
