Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience with hazardous situation recognition skills.
• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety/health, engineering, or science.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods and relevant health and safety standards.
• Experience directing health and safety initiatives for management and field personnel.
• Prior management experience with direct reports in the construction sector.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Office, and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Guide operations to uphold safety compliance with regulations and best practices.
• Manage project compliance to achieve safety objectives effectively.
• Create strategic plans for safe work environments for employees and the public.
• Conduct risk reviews and establish controls/mitigation strategies for projects.
• Perform inspections/audits focusing on hazard recognition and corrective measures.
• Supervise and develop safety professionals to enhance accident prevention efforts.
• Create and deliver training materials, using third-party resources as necessary.
